Joi has deep experience spanning over 35 years in home care and hospice.  With a Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Masters in Health Care Administration, serving her community is her calling. Joi has enjoyed the opportunity to help license and manage private duty, licensed and certified home health, and licensed and accredited hospice companies.

Joi has always advocated for her patients and their families.  Unsatisfied with her father’s experience in hospice, Joi decided to start her own hospice company where patients and families always came first. After owning and operating her company for 15 years in Houston and Austin, Joi sold the business and moved to Utah to be near family. In Utah, she started a division of a hospice and home care agency and was also able to personally serve as her sister’s home health nurse and her mother’s hospice nurse.

Joi returned to Texas after her mother’s death to be closer to her 3 daughters and 9 grandchildren. In her spare time, Joi rides her motorcycle as much as possible.  She is proud to have ridden in 29 states, 7 territories in Canada and in Australia.
