Sandi McCann brings her vast experience with all aspects of home care from HomeCare of the Rockies, the company she founded in 2012. As president of that company, Sandi developed an innovative caregiver training program that led to exceptional care delivery and enhanced caregiver support. Under her leadership, the company expanded rapidly and ultimately joined forces with Family Tree Private Care.

Today, as the Director of Community Relations with Family Tree, Sandi serves as a brand ambassador as well as a marketing and training consultant advocating for better care for seniors, caregiver rights and the advancement of home care. Sandi serves on the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) Board of Directors and the association’s Leadership Conference & Education Committee.

Sandi came to caregiving after helping to care for a terminally ill family member. In the years since, the company she founded has been recognized for exceptional care delivery and as a leader in workforce development and caregiver training. In 2020 she was awarded the Innovative Business of the Year by the Boulder Chamber of Commerce.

She is currently working on a Certificate of Applied Positive Psychology through the internationally known Flourishing Center in New York City. She intends to integrate the C.A.P.P. principles to improve home care for seniors and caregivers. Sandi lives in Boulder, CO, and Savannah, GA where she works remotely and spends time with her young grandchildren. She enjoys hiking, long walks and yoga.
